Valerie Riddle, MD, FACP
Vice President & Medical Director

Dr. Riddle joined PharmAthene, Inc. in October 2003 as Vice President and Medical Director. Dr. Riddle received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry (cum laude) from University of South Florida in 1984 and her M.D. degree from University of South Florida in 1989. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Riddle spent several years at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., most recently as Director, HIV Service. She joined MedImmune in 1998 as Director, Medical Sciences and was promoted to Sr. Director, Medical Sciences in 1999. She then joined Guilford Pharmaceuticals as Vice President, Medical Affairs in 2001 and was promoted to Vice President, Clinical and Medical Affairs in 2002.
